Ordering

To sign up, just fill out one of the “for more information” forms on our website and one of our Nutritional Consultants will contact you by phone or email to get you started.  You can also sign up on our website by purchasing a plan online.
Upon sign up, your Nutritional Consultant will ask you what you are trying to accomplish.  Based on your goals, your advisor will recommend a plan or combination of plans that’s just right for you.  For weight loss, we would usually recommend our Paleo plan, which is a low carb, high protein program that helps jump start weight loss.
Once we have your order, you will receive an order confirmation email along with your initial billing receipt.  You will also receive a welcome email that includes your user name and link to log in to our members portal where you will be able to choose your meals and customize your menu preferences.  The welcome email also includes our Welcome Guide which includes more detailed information about how our service works.
Your start date depends on when you place your order.  Because we cook your meals fresh to order and our culinary team needs time to procure and prepare your meals, we need at least 3 business days before we can start your deliveries.  If your order is received by Thursday at 5pm, you will start on Monday.  If your order is received by Saturday at 5pm, you will start on Wednesday.  If your order is received by Monday at 5pm, you will start on Friday.  Your order confirmation email will confirm your start date.

Meal Plans/Nutrition

We have 4 meal plans to choose from:  Classic, Paleo, Vegetarian and Vegan.  After you sign up, you’ll be able to log in to our Members Portal to select meals from all plan categories to create your very own customized weekly menu.
Our Classic plan consists of 4-6 oz. lean protein, 4-6 oz. of a complex carb, 4-6 oz. fresh fruits and / or vegetables.  The Classic plan ranges from 300-500 calories per meal.

Our Paleo / Gluten Free plan includes 4-6 oz. of lean protein, 8 oz. of fresh fruits and / or vegetables.  Carb counts do not exceed 30 grams per meal.  Calories per meal range from 250-500 calories.

The Paleo Diet is a way of eating that is based on what hunter-gatherers ate during the Paleolithic era (stone age).  The idea is that you only eat foods that can be hunted, fished, or gathered and need minimal cooking.  The Paleo Diet avoids modern foods that are processed and packaged or require a lot of cooking like grains, sugars/sweets, processed foods with lots of ingredients, beans, legumes and some starchy veggies.
Our paleo plan is 99% Paleo and we only stray from this if there is a simple, natural, unprocessed food that offers exceptional nutritional benefits.  Our Paleo plan includes meats, eggs, fish, all non-starchy veggies, tubers and root veggies, fruit, nuts, seeds and some legumes.  We exclude dairy, cereal grains, refined sugar, most potatoes (unless they have exceptional nutritional value i.e. sweet potato), beans and lentils.
Our vegan meals include 10-12 oz. of fresh fruits, vegetables and / or power grains and are 250-450 calories per meal.  This mostly organic, heart healthy plan includes power grains and high energy superfoods.  We avoid the dirty dozen in our vegan plan.

Yes, we can add a protein source to any vegetarian salad.  Our protein upgrade on salads is an additional $3 per meal.  We can also do double protein on salads for $6.
We offer a double protein option ONLY on our Classic and Paleo plans for an additional $3 extra per meal.  You can upgrade to double protein in our Members portal when choosing your meals.
Yes, we have plenty of gluten free options.  95% of our Paleo Plan is gluten free and there are also gluten free meal options in our Classic, Vegan and Vegetarian plans.  However, our facility is not gluten free certified and we cannot guarantee no cross contamination.  If you have a severe or life threatening gluten allergy we do not recommend DeliverLean.
We do not have an organic plan.  However, we do offer an organic protein option as an upgrade on our Classic and Paleo plans.  Organic protein upgrade is an additional $3 per meal.   We do not offer organic upgrades on our Vegetarian plan or on fish and seafood meals.  You can upgrade to double protein when choosing your meals in our Members portal.
Yes, we have a variety of delicious, guilt free desserts, many of which are vegan and gluten free.  Desserts can be added to any meal plan for $5.95 each.  For more information our dessert line, Baked by DL, go to http://www.deliverlean.com/baked-by-dl/.

Our calorie counts typically range from 250-500 calories per meal.  Nutritional information on all meals can be viewed in our Members portal when selecting your meals.  You’ll be able to view calories by meal as well as a cumulative total calories per day when choosing your meals.
Our team of Executive Chefs prepare a completely new menu rotation every week.  We have up to 96 different menu items to choose from weekly.
Vegetables can be steamed, baked, boiled, grilled or sautéed.
We have a wide variety of protein sources in our meal plans.  Some may include but are not limited to chicken, fish, seafood, pork, turkey and beef.  In our Vegetarian plan, we use protein sources such as beans, nuts, eggs, cheese and tofu.
We use a variety of whole grains with high nutritional value.  Brown rice, wild rice, quinoa, barley, buckwheat and whole wheat pasta are some examples.
Our food is made fresh daily and is intended to be eaten on or within 72 hours of the day printed on the container label.
Our meals are meant to be eaten fresh on the day they were intended for.  We do not recommend consuming our meals past the days noted on the label and we do not recommend freezing our meals.
While we make best efforts to abide by the USDA guidelines of 2300mg of sodium per day, we cannot guarantee a minimum sodium content level by meal.  We do season some of our dishes with salt to taste for flavor.  Any meals that contain soy, hoisin, teriyaki sauce, fish sauce, blackened seasoning etc. tend to be higher in sodium.
Yes, our meals are diabetic friendly, in that they do not cause as quick of a spike in blood sugar as compared to other types of meals.  We primarily use complex carbs which are high in fiber, take longer to break down and move slower through your system so sugar levels do not spike as quickly.  Our Paleo plan is a great option if you’re looking for a plan with lower amounts of complex carbs.
We cook with healthy, unsaturated fats that are high in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids.  We avoid butter, lard, and mayonnaise.  We use healthy fats like coconut oil and olive oil in our food preparation.
We make best efforts to keep our carb ranges in our Paleo plan around 30 grams per meal.

We include detailed nutritional information on every container of every meal.  We include protein, carb, calorie and fat counts.  For your convenience, you can also view nutritionals by day when choosing your meals online in the DL Community.
The order in which you consume your meals really doesn’t matter.  We do recommend that you eat a meal every 3-4 hours for best results.  The idea is to never feel too full or hungry.  This is what optimizes your metabolic rate to keep you satisfied throughout the day.
All meals with the exception of salads and desserts are packaged in microwave safe containers for easy reheating.  To warm your meals, open container and remove any cold items, garnishes and sauces.  Place the cover back on the container leaving one corner cracked open for ventilation.  For best results, heat on VEGETABLE mode until desired temperature is reached.  All microwaves vary.  Warming times can range anywhere from 2-4 minutes.  We do not recommend heating our meals on the HIGH setting as it can overcook the food.  Container may be hot.  Carefully remove container from microwave and enjoy.

Just log in to the DL Community and click on Choose My Meals.  Point and click on the meals you want to add to your menu.  Click here to watch a video tutorial of How It Works.
To choose your meals, log in to the DL Community from the home page of our website and click on the My Account in the upper right hand corner.  Log in with your user name and password to get access to the Community and start choosing your meals.
After signing up, you will receive a Welcome email that includes our Welcome Guide and a link to log in.  Click the link to log in and then create your password.  Once you’ve created your password, you will be logged in to the DL Community and you can start managing your account and choosing your meals.
Our cutoff times are:

Mon/Tues:  Thursday 5pm cutoff for new orders, meal selections or change requests

Wed/Thurs:  Saturday 5pm cutoff for new orders, meal selections or change requests

Fri/Sat/Sun:  Monday 5pm cutoff for new orders, meal selections or change requests

Yes!  When choosing your meals, you are not restricted to any one meal plan regardless of what you signed up for.  You can select meals from any of our plans.  You can also select juice, dessert and snacks.
No, there is not a maximum limit to how many meals or items you can choose in any one day.  However keep in mind that you must meet the minimum daily item quota based on your plan.  For example, if you signed up for 3 meals per day, you must select a minimum of 3 meals per day when selecting your meals.
In Choose Your Meals, we have a top and side bar navigation filtering system that allows you to pre-select customized viewing preferences.  You can filter by plan type, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, juice, desserts, dislikes etc.  By un-checking certain categories or by checking certain categories our system will show you only the items for the categories you select.  For example, if you only want to see Paleo items, make sure only Paleo is selected in your viewing preferences.

Don’t worry if you miss a cut-off for choosing meals.  If you miss a meal selection cutoff, our system will automatically select meals for you while taking your dislikes into account.
No, you do not have to stick with meal selections on your particular plan.  At DeliverLean, we’re all about CHOICE, so when selecting your meals, you have the flexibility to choose from meals within all our meal types.  We actually encourage you to mix it up and to experience items from all our plans.
DeliverLean cannot accommodate customers with severe or life threatening food allergies.  By signing up for DeliverLean, you agree to our terms and conditions and understand that DeliverLean is not responsible for any food related allergic reactions whether it be mild or severe.  We prepare our food in a facility that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish and other common food allergens.  If you have a severe food allergy, we cannot serve you.  Please contact Customer Service at 954.459.3633 if you have any questions regarding this warning.
We require each customer to set up their own dislike preferences by logging in to our Members Portal. You may select up to 3 dislikes in your account.  Once you’ve saved your dislikes, our system will flag items on our menu that contain your dislikes.  Please be advised, it can take up to 4 business days for dislike preferences to take effect on your account.  If your order for any given day has already been created when you set your dislike preference, your dislikes will not be applied to those meals.
Yes, you can override a dislike when choosing your meals.  However, if you select a meal that contains one of your dislikes and you have a severe food allergy, we do not advise overriding your dislike. If you choose to override and select a meal that has one of your dislikes, you understand you are doing so at your own risk and DeliverLean has no liability or responsibility whatsoever for any food allergies that may occur whether it be mild or severe. If you have any questions about our allergen policy, please contact Customer Service at 954.459.3633.
You can set up to 3 food dislikes in your account.  Just log in to the DL Community and set your dislike preferences before you start selecting your meals.  If you choose a meal that has one of your dislikes, our system will give you a warning to let you know you’ve selected a meal with one of your dislikes.  If you decide to override our system by selecting a meal with one of your dislikes, you understand you are doing so at your own risk.
Going out of town?  No problem.  Just log in to the DL Community and click on Account Overview to put your account on pause.  Your meal service will automatically resume based on the start and end dates you put in your pause request.  Keep in mind that no meals will be delivered on the start or end date of pauses.  All pause requests take 3 business days to take effect on your account.
We have a 2 week maximum pause limit.  If you have a special request, please email our Customer Service team at CustomerService@DeliverLean.com.
Menus are automatically emailed out to customers on Fridays at 3pm.
To view your menu, just log in to the DL Community and click on My Menus.  Then enter a date range for the menu or menus you’d like to view and click Go to generate your menu.
If you have trouble logging in to your account email CustomerService@DeliverLean.com and they will assist you within 24 hours.
Most account changes can be made in our Members section of the DL Community.  Just log in to your account to manage various aspects of your service including billing, delivery, password, pauses, dislikes etc.  If you don’t find what you need in our Members portal, please email CustomerService@DeliverLean.com.  Keep in mind all changes to accounts take at least 3 business days to take effect.
You’ll have the ability to Rate Your Meals from within the DL Community.  Just log in and go to Rate My Meals to give us up to 5 stars on meals you’ve tried so we can continue to make your meals even better.

Delivery

We deliver in most of Miami Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.  Our delivery territories span from Jupiter to Kendall.  To check if we deliver to your area please email Sales@DeliverLean.com or call us at 954.459.3633.
We have two options.  Most of our customers get delivery directly to their doorstep but we also have a pick up option.  Our deliveries are made on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 12am – 7am.  If you prefer to pick up your meals, you can arrange to do so by picking up on our delivery days at our corporate headquarters in Oakland Park between the hours of 9am – 5pm.  Pick up orders are not charged a delivery fee.
If you live in a gated community or condo with a concierge or manned gate, please notify them about your deliveries so our drivers can gain access.  Be sure to tell them we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 12am – 7am.  If there is not a manned gate, we will need to receive a FOB or gate code before your deliveries can begin.  DeliverLean cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries due to no access.
We deliver on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 12am – 7am.  Your meals are packed in an insulated cooler bag with ice packs and a zip tie for safety.  Please bring your bag in before 8am and refrigerate your meals right away.
Our meals are delivered in a thermally insulated cooler bag with ice packs and are secured with a zip tie for safety.
On Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, make sure to put your empty cooler bag and ice packs out on your doorstep for our driver to pick up when he makes your next delivery.
If for some reason your food arrives after 7am or you do not receive a delivery, please contact Customer Service by calling 954.459.3633 or by emailing them at CustomerService@DeliverLean.com.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time.  We do guarantee that all customers will receive delivery no later than 7am.
If you have any specific driver instructions for where to place your bag, please make sure to let your representative know at point of sale so we can make a note in our system for our drivers.
If you forget to put your empty bag and ice packs out the night before your delivery, please make sure to do so on your next delivery. Customers should never have more than 4 bags in their possession at any time during enrollment. Customers having more than 4 bags in their possession at any given time will automatically be charged a weekly $6 per bag late fee until all bags are returned.
We charge a $6 fee for each delivery.
Our containers are made of PET recyclable material.  While we don’t take our containers back, they are recyclable.  We encourage you to re-use your containers or recycle them.  We are unable to accept used containers back into our facility.

Billing / Account Information

You can update your billing information by logging in to your account in the DL Community.  Just edit and save your information before closing out the screen.  Keep in mind, if there is a billing issue at the time of auto-renewal and you don’t contact us within 24 hours of receipt of billing issue notification, your next delivery will not be made.  For any billing issues contact Billing@DeliverLean.com.
We have an auto-renewal billing system.  All DeliverLean plans are on auto-renew as per our enrollment terms and conditions and billing frequency that were agreed to upon sign-up.  Your credit card will automatically be re-billed when your available balance is insufficient to cover your next delivery.  You will be billed the same amount based on the plan that was originally signed up for excluding any initial promotional discounts.  Please be advised that your re-billing date can fluctuate based on your meal selections in Choose Your Meals.  If you choose more items on any given day than you signed up for, your funds will deplete sooner therefore triggering the auto-renewal feature sooner.  To notify us that you do not wish to AUTO-RENEW for a subsequent billing cycle, we require notice in writing at least 4 business days prior to your current program cycle ending. If you wish not to auto-renew, please write NO AUTO-RENEW in the subject line of your email and send your request to CustomerService@DeliverLean.com.  Please note that if we do not receive notification in writing at least 4 business days before your current program cycle ends, you will automatically be billed for an additional cycle and will be obligated to continue service through the subsequent cycle(s). If you have questions about the maturity date of your billing cycle, you can email Billing@DeliverLean.com.  All customers will be required to complete an exit survey prior to plan termination.
To change to a different billing frequency, email Billing@DeliverLean.com.
As there is no maximum limit to the amount of meals per day you may select while choosing your meals, keep in mind that your account balance will be debited for every item you choose.  If you choose more items on any given day, your account will be debited accordingly, thus pushing your renewal date up in time.
We have weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly billing options.  We accept all major credit cards or Debit Cards.  We do not take checks.
If you wish to discontinue your entire program, please email CustomerService@DeliverLean.com.  All customers cancelling will be required to complete a mandatory exit survey in order for their cancellation to be processed.  Please be advised that you are obligated to complete your service through the end of your current cycle and no refunds will be given.  If cancellation requests are not received at least 4 business days prior to auto renewal, you will be automatically re-billed for another cycle and will be obligated to continue service through the end of that cycle.
Yes.  If you have someone you’d like to refer to us, just send an email to Sales@DeliverLean.com and provide the contact name, email and phone number for the person you are referring.  If your referral signs up, we will credit your account with 1 day of free food based on your current plan settings.  Or if you have a friend call in, simply ask them to give your name when we ask “how did you hear about us” and we will note your account for a day of complimentary meals.
By becoming a customer, or by completing any of our online forms at www.DeliverLean.com, you agree to be automatically opted in to be contacted by phone, email, mail or by text for a variety of promotional or account related messaging by DeliverLean and any of DeliverLean’s subsidiaries or 3rd party preferred marketing partners.  If at any time, you wish not to receive communication(s) from us, you can opt out of our emails by clicking the Unsubscribe button in the footer of our emails.  If you wish for us not to contact you by phone, please email CustomerService@DeliverLean.com and ask to be placed on our Do Not Call list.  If you wish not to receive mailings from us, email CustomerService@DeliverLean.com and ask to be placed on our Do Not Mail list.  All mobile subscribers may at any time, for any reason, opt out of the mobile marketing campaigns after receiving a text from us.
