Individual Donation Pickups and Weekly Food Drive to Begin Wednesday, April 29 at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale

DeliverLean, one of the nation’s largest healthy meal delivery services and food manufacturing companies, has launched DeliverLean Cares, a charitable division devoted to engaging the South Florida community. DeliverLean Cares has launched an expansive food drive initiative to collect non-perishable food items from South Florida homes in order to expand distribution locations with community partners so they can reach more families in need during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Anyone in the tri-county area can complete the form at www.deliverleancares.com and DeliverLean’s network of over 400+ drivers will pick up non-perishable items from homes within 24-hours and redistribute them to multiple community drop locations in the tri-county area.
Beginning Wednesday, April 29 at 10 a.m. at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, in coordination with the Urban League of Broward County and cooperation from Sysco Southeast Florida, DeliverLean will distribute the collected non-perishable items and/or a fresh meal to anyone in need. The first come, first served food drive will take place every Wednesday at Inter Miami CF Stadium’s parking lot for the foreseeable future.
